About

What does a bumblebee have in common with a space ship? A tsunami with a work of art? Or a tango with a political alliance? They are all systems, part of larger systems, made up of smaller systems.

Every aspect of the universe we inhabit is saturated by systems, from physical to biological to sociological. Like the dance of the planets around the sun, the ebbs and flows of signals around the human brain, or the clashing and coalescing of rivaling institutions. All of these systems, when seen and understood, emanate beauty. They reveal God, moving in majesty and glory.

Join me as I peer behind the veil to see the systems of our societies—for no other reason than the joy of understanding them. I’m a computer scientist and engineer, a husband and father, a tinkerer and philosopher.
